Young people need your support more than ever!
At Big Brothers Big Sisters, serving Grand Erie, Halton and Hamilton, we believe that all youth should have the opportunity to achieve great things and become the best versions of themselves. But they can’t do it alone, nor should they have to. Our goal is to connect like-minded people together — those who believe in transforming possibilities into realities, creating meaningful opportunities, and leaving a profound and lasting impact on the life of a young person.
Young people need adults in their lives who care about them, encourage them and believe in them. We recently launched Bigs Who Care, so together we can ensure BBBS programming reaches more youth across the regions of Halton, Hamilton and Grand Erie.
Building on the successful concept of “100 Men Who Care” and “100 Women Who Care,” we are looking for community-minded individuals who believe in the power and potential of mentoring. Big Brothers Big Sisters is hosting quarterly members’ meetings in 2026 (February, May, September, November), which will give you a first-hand look at what mentorship can help achieve. Hear from those whose lives have been positively impacted by BBBS — mentors, mentees, caregivers — and be ready to be inspired.
After the presentation, each member will make a $100 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters, making an immediate, direct and positive effect on the lives of young people.
